Job Details

• Semi-local dedicated account
• Deliver retail office supply products to store locations
• Average 4 to 6 stops per trailer
• Average 4 to 6 pallets delivered per store
• Driver unload position using a manual pallet jack
• Average unload time of approximately 30 minutes per store
• Mix of dedicated freight and support account work

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position.

• Unload pallets using a manual pallet jack
• Move pallets weighing up to 3,000 pounds with proper equipment
• Offload pinwheeled trailers when required
• Must be comfortable working in tight retail delivery locations
• Ability to blindside back into restricted dock areas
• Ability to maneuver safely in close-quarter delivery environments

Special Requirements

• Must be willing to support Intermodal, DCS, and third-party freight when needed
• Additional account work may occur multiple times per week
• Intermodal freight is primarily drop-and-hook
• Must be willing and able to install tire chains when required
• Must be comfortable driving in mountain terrain
• Must be able to safely operate in varying weather conditions
• Strong trip-planning skills required during winter months

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
• Ability to perform physical unloading duties
