CDL Class A Local Driver (In-State) – Lowboy/Heavy Haul
Now Hiring: Experienced CDL Class A Local Driver
We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This is an in-state, local driving position, allowing you to be home daily. The ideal candidate will have experience operating an 18-speed manual transmission semi-truck with a lowboy trailer and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Safely operate an 18-speed manual transmission semi-truck with a lowboy trailer.
Transport equipment and materials throughout the state.
Properly secure all loads using appropriate tie-downs, chains, binders, and other securement equipment.
Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours-of-service requirements and vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation.
Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and in good operating condition.
Assist with shop duties, equipment maintenance, and general labor when not driving.
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
Experience operating an 18-speed manual transmission is required.
Experience hauling equipment with a lowboy trailer is required.
Knowledge of proper load securement procedures.
Strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Clean driving record.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Willing to assist in the shop when driving assignments are not available.
