• Mostly no-touch freight.
• If drivers help out at other accounts they could be asked to unload with a pallet jack. So drivers will be trained in pallet jack usage to help unload when necessary
• Drivers can expect to help on other dcs accounts 2-3 days per week.
• Deliver groceries within 250 miles of Chester, NY - NY Hudson Valley, the 5 boroughs and Long Island (After required training), NY, CT. Also with back hauls ranging throughout the same areas, including PA.
• NOTE: NEW DRIVERS ON THE ACCT WILL NOT RUN NYC UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE ACCT 6 MONTHS OR LONGER. BEFORE SOLO ROUTES , DRIVERS WILL TRAIN WITH NYC CERTIFIED TRAINERS
• NOTE: Only 20-25% of the freight delivers in NYC.
• Multistop loads, usually 15 plus stops per week.
• Drivers normally do 2 loads per day or one long load.
• Weekly pay guarantee offered: $1,634 per week. Must work 5 days and 10 hours minimum per week to receive.
• $0.68-$0.74 per mile (1400 miles/ week)
• Stop pay: $28.50 - $30 per stop
• Detention pay: $15 per hour
• Truck move: $50
• New hire training pay: $200 per day
• Safety training pay: $20 per hour
• Holiday pay: $280 per day
• New York City stop: $62.50 per load
