Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Join a growing team as a CDL A Local Driver earning $28-$32/hour! This Monday-Friday position offers steady daytime hours and a great mix of driving and warehouse responsibilities. Drivers will spend approximately 80% of their time making local deliveries of paper and packaging products and 20% assisting with warehouse operations. Candidates should be comfortable loading and unloading materials up to 50 lbs., have basic computer skills, and be willing to obtain forklift certification. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver who enjoys staying active both on the road and in the warehouse. Job Duties

• Make local deliveries of paper and packaging products
• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment
• Load and unload freight while performing warehouse duties
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (upon certification)
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations
• Use computer systems to complete delivery, inventory, and warehouse documentation
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to load and unload materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

What You Will Do

As a Class A CDL Local Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The Class A CDL Local Driver provides dependable transportation services while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires careful vehicle operation, sound judgment, and consistent attention to transportation procedures.
