Job description

WorldLink Truck Driving Academy is seeking motivated, experienced CDL drivers to add to our team of high performing Class A CDL Truck Driving Instructors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver classroom, equipment, range, and road instruction
• Monitor student progress and provide additional assistance as necessary
• Prepare reports and records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies, and school regulations
• Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures
• Keep current with laws and developments related to commercial truck driving
• Use relevant technology to support instruction
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• MUST have a valid CDL Class A license with a MINIMUM of 3 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience; Driver Training Instructor License is not required but preferred
• Must possess a clean driving record: no more than 2 driving offenses or accidents in the past 2 years and no DUI in the past 10 years
• Must be physically able to operate motor vehicle
• Be patient and a good leader to students
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must possess at least a HS diploma or GED
• Must have basic computer capabilities
• Must bring a strong work ethic coupled with tenacity, self-motivation, and problem solving
• Any education experience is a big plus Type: Full-time
