Class A CDL Tractor-Trailer Driver

Location: Providence, RI

Position ID: 43

Localized Regional Corridors: Providence, RI to New Haven, CT; Hartford, CT; Springfield, MA; Worcester, MA; and Boston, MA. Out-and-back lanes with occasional runs to Albany, NY and Portland, ME.

Late-Model Fleet: All tractors are under 18 months old, equipped with automatic transmissions, collision mitigation, and lane departure warning systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Verifiable Class A CDL with tractor-trailer experience: minimum 3 months required in the last 3 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• Zero DUIs or drug-related convictions in the last 5 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA safety gate requirements.

Compensation and Weekly Scale

Target weekly earnings: up to $1,750. Pay is based on a combination of per-mile and activity-based rates for experienced drivers. Average weekly miles: 2,200 to 2,500.
