Job Description
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional delivery routes
- Complete multiple customer deliveries and pickups throughout the day
- Safely transport steel, aluminum, and other metal products
- Properly secure loads and tarp flatbed loads when weather conditions require it
- Maneuver trucks safely into customer loading and unloading areas
- Assist with loading and unloading when required
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required delivery documentation
- Review bills of lading and manifests for accuracy
- Obtain customer signatures and delivery receipts
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, company, and customer safety requirements
You should be proficient in:
- Driver's License
- Truck Operations & Load Securement
- Current CDL License
