Class A CDL Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A flatbed truck on local routes
• Load, secure, tarp, and unload freight using straps, chains, binders, and tarps
• Ensure loads are compliant with DOT and safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and logs (ELD, if applicable)
• Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow company safety policies

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to safely secure flatbed loads
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical job duties
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Must be safety? oriented and punctual

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of Class A CDL driving experience
• Flatbed or open? deck experience
• Knowledge of local routes
