Five Days on the Road With Weekends at Home

A regional driving schedule does not have to mean unpredictable home time. LEM Trucking is hiring for a Class A CDL Truck Driver position in Baltimore with a five day operating schedule followed by a full 48 hour reset at home every weekend.

Drivers haul established dry van freight throughout the Northeast, with select loads extending into the Midwest. The primary territory reaches from Maine through the Southeast toward Atlanta and west into areas of Illinois and Indiana. This provides enough regional coverage to maintain freight volume while keeping drivers on a schedule that brings them back home each week.

Regional Freight Operation

Freight is 100 percent no touch, so drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading trailers. Approximately half of the freight is drop and hook, with the remainder handled through scheduled live load and unload appointments.

A Class A CDL Truck Driver can expect an average weekly income of $1,400 to $1,500 depending on mileage, experience, and additional compensation. Pay is issued weekly by direct deposit.

Equipment and Driver Benefits

Each Class A CDL Truck Driver is assigned a late model Freightliner Cascadia sleeper with an automatic transmission. Equipment includes a battery powered APU, refrigerator, power inverter, and built in entertainment features. Approved parking may allow drivers to take assigned trucks home.

Class A CDL Truck Driver Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL and a minimum of three months of tractor trailer experience. Drivers must meet DOT qualification standards and complete required background and drug screening.
