Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Yard Driver to join our team in La Vergne, TN. This position is responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers within the facility/yard and supporting daily transportation and logistics operations.

The schedule is firmly set at Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

There may be an opportunity to extend the assignment; however, an extension is not guaranteed.

Additionally, there is currently an open route driver position that has been sourced separately. If the selected driver is a strong fit for the team and is interested, there may be an opportunity to explore transitioning into that position at the end of this assignment or when the regular full-time driver returns.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Applicants must be domiciled in the United States and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or have the ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• At least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents
• Must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Reliable, predictable, and consistent attendance is an essential function of the position
• Must have English language proficiency as required for compliance with applicable federal law
• Must be willing to complete the required employment application, background investigation, and drug screening
• Must be able to maintain constant alertness and perform all duties safely
• Must accept responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others
