Local Miles - What You'll Do as a Class A Delivery Driver (Job Duties)

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle, including a 26′ box truck, for local daily deliveries.
• Safely transport and deliver HVAC equipment to customer locations while following all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Load, unload, and handle touch freight using equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
• Maneuver heavy HVAC materials weighing up to 70 lbs. throughout the delivery process.
• Complete daily delivery routes while ensuring accurate and timely product delivery.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment before and after routes to ensure safe operation.
• Secure freight properly and verify loads are handled according to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or issues.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and assist with product placement as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle.
