Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to transport dry bulk materials using pneumatic and hopper trailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport dry bulk products to customer locations and terminals. Load, unload, and transfer dry bulk materials using pneumatic systems and related equipment. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate driver logs, fuel records, bills of lading, and delivery documentation. Follow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal personnel regarding delivery schedules and operational updates. Monitor cargo conditions and ensure proper securement and handling procedures are followed. Report mechanical issues, accidents, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at delivery locations. Adhere to assigned schedules while operating safely in various weather and road conditions. Drivers must always demonstrate respectful and professional manner toward co-workers, customers, and all other drivers on the road. This includes courteous communication, patience in challenging situations, and behavior that always reflects positively on the company. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record. Tanker endorsement preferred (or ability to obtain). Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience. Experience hauling dry bulk, pneumatic, or hopper freight preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic logging devices (ELDs). Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders as required. Strong attention to safety, detail, and time management. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Skills Pneumatic trailer operation experience. Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends or overnight routes when needed.
