Description
A Class A Landoll/Lowboy Driver is a CDL Class A truck driver who specializes in transporting heavy equipment, vehicles, and oversized loads using Landoll trailers or lowboy trailers.
Typical Duties
Load and secure construction equipment, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy machinery.
Operate Landoll and lowboy trailers safely.
Perform vehicle and trailer inspections.
Ensure compliance with DOT and state regulations.
Plan routes for oversized or overweight loads.
Complete delivery paperwork and maintain logs.
Provide towing and recovery services when required.
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license.
Clean driving record.
Experience with heavy-haul, towing, or equipment transport.
Knowledge of load securement procedures.
Ability to operate chains, binders, winches, and ramps.
Medical card and ability to pass drug screening.
