    Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Class A Driver / Skidsteer Operator role based in Bradenton, FL. The person in this position will safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and debris to and from job sites, following all DOT and company safety guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating skidsteers for excavation, grading, backfilling, and site preparation for pool construction projects, while maintaining clean and organized work areas. The role involves performing basic equipment inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting crew members with general labor tasks as required. The Class A Driver / Skidsteer Operator will also coordinate with supervisors and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project specifications.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record and experience operating commercial trucks.
    • \n
    • Hands-on experience operating skidsteers and similar construction equipment for excavation, grading, and material handling.
    • \n
    • Knowledge of basic construction and site work practices, including safety procedures, load securement, and equipment inspections.
    • \n
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read job site plans or directions, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
    • \n
    • Strong attention to safety, reliability, and punctuality, with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor as needed.
    • \n
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in pool construction, excavation, or construction trucking is a plus.
    • \n
    • Willingness to comply with company policies, pass any required background checks, and maintain required certifications or medical cards.
