Core responsibilities
- Haul and deliver freight for customers, subsidiaries, divisions, and freight brokers while meeting DOT and company safety standards.
- Shuttle, spot, and reposition trailers in yards, plants, and warehouses for efficient loading/unloading.
- Maintain clear traffic lanes and safe dock areas.
- Apply FMCSA rules for interstate CMV operations.
- Complete accurate pickup/delivery documentation; submit bills, receipts, and required reports on time.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; monitor vehicle condition during operation and report issues promptly to the Maintenance Department and Central Control.
- Operate a day cab tractor as assigned.
- Uphold high standards of cab and trailer cleanliness.
Minimum qualifications
- 23+ years of age.
- 2–3 years of verifiable Class A experience with a 53' dry van in the last 5 years.
- 2 years of DMV/MVR history with 2 or fewer moving violations.
Required proficiencies
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Current Class A CDL
