Road Warrior Staffing is currently hiring CDL A Local Flatbed Drivers in the Eagleville, TN and Nashville, TN area.

This is a Local / Home Daily opportunity offering consistent work, competitive earning potential, quality equipment, and the ability to be home every day.

No previous flatbed experience is required — training is available for qualified CDL A drivers.

Drivers will operate modern tractors and a variety of flatbed equipment while transporting and safely securing freight throughout the local operating area.

Operate primarily within the local Nashville-area market
Home Daily
Consistent local work
Flatbed, Conestoga, and step deck operations
Flatbed experience preferred, but willing to train qualified drivers
Pay & Earning Potential
Average $1,600+ Weekly
Earning potential based on available local freight and individual performance

Duties

Safely operate a Class A CDL commercial motor vehicle on local routes.
Transport freight using Conestoga, flatbed, and step deck trailers.
Safely secure all loads using proper load securement procedures.
Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure freight is properly secured before and during transportation.
Follow all applicable DOT, safety, and company requirements.
Maintain accurate required documentation and records.
Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
Maintain awareness of changing road, traffic, weather, and loading conditions.
Maintain assigned equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Provide reliable and professional service while completing assigned routes.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL A)
Proper Class A CDL qualifications and endorsements as required
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
Minimum age of 23 years old
Drivers 25 years old and older are encouraged to apply
Ability to safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
Ability to perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Ability to safely secure freight
No SAP drivers
No current CDL license suspension or revocation
A work permit is not acceptable
Must meet applicable company, DOT, safety, and insurance requirements
Flatbed Experience
Previous flatbed experience is preferred but not required
Qualified drivers without previous flatbed experience may be considered for training
Experience with Conestoga, flatbed, or step deck equipment is a plus
Knowledge of proper load securement is preferred
Driving Record Requirements

Candidates must maintain an acceptable driving history and meet applicable safety and insurance requirements.

Disqualifying or unacceptable driving history may include:

Serious or disqualifying traffic violations within the previous three years
Excessive speeding, including any single offense of 15 MPH or more over the posted speed limit
Reckless driving
Improper or erratic lane changes
Following another vehicle too closely
Driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
Hit-and-run, leaving the scene of an accident, or failure to report an accident
