Class A Local Truck Driver

Beast Mode Truckin is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to support an intermodal account based in Bell Gardens, CA. This local assignment features predominantly no-touch freight, daily home time, and a predictable night-shift schedule. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Operate intermodal trailers within the Inland Empire, Los Angeles area, and routes up the Grapevine.
• Perform multiple stops per shift (typical range: 6–10 stops), including drop-and-hook and occasional live load/unload work.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and daily log requirements.
• Inspect, maintain, and secure assigned equipment and cargo; report mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and terminal personnel; complete required paperwork and electronic entries accurately.

Schedule and work area

• Night shift, five-day work week with two consecutive days off.
• Home daily.
• Primary operating area: Inland Empire, Los Angeles area, and Grapevine routes.

Compensation and benefits

• $1,400–$1,800 per week (varies with hours and stops).
• Base hourly rate: $19.25 per hour.
• Per-stop pay: $18.71 per stop (6–10 stops typical; stop pay can total up to approximately $181.71 per day).
• Occasional unload pay: $40–$80 (paid in rare situations).
• Full benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.

Minimum requirements

• Age 21 or older and possession of a valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of recent commercial driving experience.
• Residence within 25 miles of Bell Gardens, CA.
• Fair driving record: no major accidents, major citations, or license suspensions within the past 5 years.
• No DUI within the past 5 years.
• No involuntary termination from most recent employment for safety-related reasons.
• Solid 10-year employment history with no major gaps; at least 6 months of employment in the most recent year or 1 year within the last 3 years.
• Ability to pass pre-employment urine and hair drug screening.
• Certain criminal convictions may be disqualifying; all offenses are reviewed by the safety team on an individual basis.
