Pay and Schedule
Starting Pay: $35.00 to $35.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with regular overtime and Saturdays as needed.
About the Role
This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy a physically active job and want to work for a company that prioritizes safety and growth. Responsibilities include:
Safely operating tractor-trailer units on assigned routes to haul solid waste and containers
Frequent entry and exit from the cab throughout the day
Securing loads and performing your own tarping
Conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
Reading and following route sheets; servicing all assigned customers
Hauling containers to designated dump or swap locations
Delivering professional and courteous service at every stop
Physical and Environmental Conditions
Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling-objects over 50 lbs.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions year-round
Work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise
Strict adherence to safety protocols
Minimum Requirements
Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 2 years of relevant driving experience
Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections
SAFETY SENSITIVE - YES
