Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Class A Welder to join a growing fabrication team in Broken Arrow, OK. This position is responsible for assembling and welding custom bladder tanks, strainers, and valve products using MIG, Flux Core, and Sub Arc welding processes in accordance with ASME standards.

The ideal Class A Welder possesses strong fabrication skills, can read and interpret complex drawings, and consistently produces high-quality, watertight welds while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Weld Test Required:3G Downhill MIG Stringer / Uphill Flux Fill & Cap (Visual & Bend Test)
Required Experience & Skills
Previous ASME welding experience required
Proficiency with MIG, Flux Core, and Sub Arc welding processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, fabrication sketches, and weld symbols
Strong fitting and layout skills with the ability to maintain precise tolerances
Experience using measuring tools including tape measures, squares, levels, and calipers
Ability to safely operate grinders, torches, saws, and material handling equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble and weld custom bladder tanks, strainers, and valve products to ASME specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding
Fit, tack, and weld components while maintaining required tolerances and quality standards
Measure and verify dimensions throughout fabrication and welding processes
Perform MIG, Flux Core, and Sub Arc welding operations on custom-engineered products
Conduct visual inspections and quality checks prior to QA review
Operate fabrication equipment and perform basic equipment setup and maintenance
Complete job documentation, time tracking, and material records accurately
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and quality goals
Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and lean manufacturing principles
Assist with training junior welders and support continuous improvement efforts
Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and PPE requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience fabricating pressure vessels, tanks, or valve products
Familiarity with ASME code requirements and quality standards
Experience in custom manufacturing or heavy industrial fabrication environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in various welding positions
Ability to safely handle heavy materials and fabrication equipment
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, sparks, and welding fumes
Work Environment
Industrial fabrication facility producing custom-engineered products
Exposure to welding operations, heavy equipment, heat, and metalworking processes
Fast-paced production environment focused on precision, quality, and safety
PPE required at all times while performing fabrication and welding duties
