Full job description

Move trailers in yard and in and out of doors as needed for warehouse. Occasionally make trips to storage yards and/or Ryder. Inspect equipment before use in yard to make sure it is not in need of repairs

Job Responsibilities

• Move trailers throughout the yard and in and out of warehouse doors as needed.
• Occasionally make trips to storage yards and/or Ryder locations.
• Inspect trailers and equipment before use to ensure they are safe and do not require repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard area.
• Communicate any equipment issues or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Previous yard driving or trailer-moving experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable operating trailers in a warehouse/yard environment.
• Must be able to complete pre-use equipment inspections.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
