Class Action Litigation Associate Attorney

Pay: $150,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Location: Oakland, California – Full-time, fully on-site in our downtown office with convenient access to public transportation.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in California and have at least 2 years of civil litigation experience. This position is fully on-site, and relocation assistance is not available.

Job Description

• Represent clients in complex consumer rights and class action litigation matters.
• Handle cases in state and federal courts appropriate to your level of experience.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Manage discovery, client communications, and case progression.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on nationally significant litigation.
• Analyze legal issues and develop creative solutions for challenging matters.
• Meet court deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and legal professionals.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing litigation team.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience required.
• 1+ yr of class action experience required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and legal briefs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Class action or plaintiff-side litigation experience is a plus but not required.
