Class B CDL Driver

We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded, and customer-focused Class B CDL Delivery Driver to join our team and help carry that tradition forward.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle while making deliveries to local customers.
• Load, unload, and deliver fresh produce and other food products accurately and on schedule.
• Verify orders and delivery paperwork to ensure customers receive the correct products and quantities.
• Provide friendly, professional service and represent the company positively when interacting with customers.
• Follow all food-safety, product-handling, and delivery procedures to protect product quality.
• Complete driver logs, delivery paperwork, and other required records accurately and on time.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Follow all applicable DOT, state, and company driving and safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with Dispatch, customers, and other team members to support smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• Applicants must have a safe and acceptable driving record with fewer than three points.
• Previous commercial delivery-driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to safely load, unload, lift, carry, and move product.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and other delivery equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently, follow assigned routes, and manage time effectively.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

• Previous experience working in a restaurant, foodservice operation, grocery environment, or food-distribution company.
• Familiarity with fresh produce, common foodservice products, product quality, or proper food-handling practices.
• Knowledge of Boston and the surrounding delivery area.
• Experience making multi-stop deliveries in urban areas.
