Pay & Schedule
+ Starting Pay: $35.00 - $35.50 per hour
+ Schedule: Monday through Friday
+ Start Time: Between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
+ Overtime opportunities available
+ Occasional Saturday work as business needs require
+ Local routes with daily return to the yard
Position Responsibilities
As a Class B CDL Hook Truck Driver , you will:
+ Safely operate a Class B CDL hook-lift truck on assigned local routes throughout the Fife and greater Tacoma area.
+ Deliver, exchange, and retrieve hook-lift containers at customer locations and disposal facilities.
+ Load and unload containers using the truck's hook-lift system.
+ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
+ Secure containers and loads while following all company safety requirements.
+ Utilize tablet-based technology to manage route information, electronic logs, and required documentation.
+ Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
+ Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
+ Operate equipment safely while utilizing onboard safety technology and monitoring systems.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
+ Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience.
+ Experience operating manual transmission vehicles, including 10-speed, 13-speed, or 18-speed transmissions.
+ Hook-lift, roll-off, or container delivery experience preferred.
+ Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes.
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred.
+ Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork.
+ SAFETY SENSITIVE: YES

The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
+ Frequent climbing in and out of the truck cab.
+ Lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
+ Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
+ Exposure to vibration, noise, dust, fumes, and moving mechanical equipment.
+ Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and performing physical tasks throughout the workday.
