    Job Title: Class B Driver

    Facility/Location: Louisville, KY

    NOVO Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class B Driver to join our team at the Louisville, KY facility. Join a collaborative team that provides high-quality service to healthcare partners across the region.

    Essential Functions:

    • Drive company truck carrying linen carts for hospitals
    • Load and unload truck at client hospitals and deliver products as directed
    • Take carts to designated areas
    • Daily pick up of used NOVO Health Services soiled linen
    • Keep accurate records/logs
    • Interact with customers on a daily basis
    • Ensure all POD’s are signed and dated with time of delivery and return
    • Act as company’s primary representative at the client hospitals
    • Responsible for all pre-trip safety inspections, preventative truck maintenance, and all other regulations per the Department of Transportation.
    • Proper cleaning of the company trucks per Standard Operating Procedures

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Able to maintain a driver license
    • Able to obtain other licenses or pass tests required by regulatory agencies
    • Able to maintain a safe driving record
    • Able to push/pull loaded linen carts (up to 700 lbs) of hospital supplies on and off truck and transfer to designated areas of client hospitals
    • Ability to keep accurate log sheets

    Preferred

    • Minimum of 1 year experience
    • Able to communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and coworkers
    • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
    • Ability to read and understand applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
