About the Position

TransForce is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Driver with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for a full-time opportunity supporting local P&D (Pick-Up and Delivery) operations throughout the Central Illinois region. This position offers competitive pay, steady weekday hours, and year-round work for safety-minded professionals who are comfortable with a physically demanding role.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
• Consistent Monday–Friday schedule
• 9:30 AM start, 8–10 hours per day
• Home daily
• Full-time, dedicated opportunity

Job Details

• Route Type: Local
• Freight: Heavy Touch
• Equipment: Automatic Transmission
• Handling: Load and unload freight using manual pallet jacks

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local pick-up and delivery (P&D) operations with an average of 12–16 stops per day
• Load and unload freight using manual pallet jacks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance and follow all safety procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
• Minimum of 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Ability to perform heavy-touch freight duties and repetitive loading and unloading activities
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
