CESA 2 seeks an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to instruct licensure candidates in the CLASS program.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction license in Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Master's Degree in education. At least 5 years teaching or administrator experience. Proficient in American Sign Language. Strong technology skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people (Board, administration, coworkers, teachers, support staff, etc.). Excellent leadership skills with the proven ability to lead professional learning. Effective public relations skills. Proven effective classroom instructional experience and skills.
Performance Responsibilities:
Support candidates through email, phone, and coaching support
Grade coursework and provide individual candidate's feedback between the 16th - 20th of each month
Attend monthly faculty meetings
Attend 16 hours of CLASS professional development each year
Create coursework and update modules throughout the year
