    Description:

    You will be the Information Systems Security Officer Sr for the team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

    What You Will Be Doing

    As the Information Systems Security Officer Sr, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day information system security operations, including auditing and ensuring compliance with internal LM and customer security requirements. You will also be responsible for technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Overseeing day-to-day information system security operations
    • Carrying out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements
    • Upkeeping, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to network and security events
    • Documenting compliance actions with the ISSM to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame
    • Ensuring systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices

    MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Secret Clearance with Investigation within 5

    years

    • Sec+ or equivalent DoD Directive 8570 / 8140

    Information Assurance Management Level II

    • Ability to author SSPs and maintain

    authorizations to operate (ATO).

    • Ability to perform technical certifications for

    systems being presented to the government for

    authorization.

    • Knowledge of other security disciplines and

    how they impact and interact with information

    system security.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with NISPOM, RMF, DAAPM and

    JSIG certification and accreditation processes.

    • Experience working with classified information

    systems.

    • DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level III
    • Previous experience working in an SAP / SCI/

    Collateral environment.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication

    skills and ability to effectively interface with

    numerous cognizant security agencies,

    customers and senior management.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a

    dynamic, demanding environment.

    • Knowledge of other security disciplines and

    how they impact and interact with information

    system security.

    Prior experience as ISSO, or DoD equivalent at

    an organization of similar size and complexity.

    • Understanding of network concepts and Type 1

    encryption devices, such as TACLANE.

    • Understanding of networking concepts and

    cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense

    Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security

    Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and

    Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP),

    and vulnerability scanners.

    • Knowledge of government / contractor network

    interconnectivity arrangements.

    • Ability to speak in front of large groups of

    people.

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in

    a related discipline, or equivalent

    experience/combined education, with 7 years of

    professional experience; or 5 years experience

    required with a related Masters degree.

    Considered experienced, but still a learner.

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
