Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified, energetic, engaging, and dynamic Visual Arts educator to join our elementary school community. The ideal candidate will be committed to student-centered learning and creating an environment where every student can explore, create, take risks, and develop their unique artistic voice. Our elementary visual arts program is grounded in Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB), and preference will be given to candidates with experience or demonstrated understanding of TAB and choice-based art education. The successful candidate will foster student agency, creativity, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts.
This position is available August 24, 2026.
Current CT Art Certification (042) is required.
