Our Lady of Mercy Preparatory Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and mission-driven Assistant Teacher to join our Preschool program. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a vibrant, faith-centered school community dedicated to nurturing the whole child.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
• Foster a warm, nurturing, and safe classroom environment.
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage creativity, independence, and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining a clean learning environment.
• Support the Catholic mission and values of OLM Prep.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A joyful, patient, and flexible disposition.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
