Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Provides effective instruction to elementary school students. Assists pupils in need of help, prepares lessons, tests, and evaluations. Actively participates in committee work (departmental, curriculum, etc.), advisory council work, staff meetings, and conferences with pupils, parents, colleagues, administration and parents.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Proper Connecticut teaching certification required. Academic preparation with emphasis on elementary education; ability to modify the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners. Must be a flexible collaborator with an understanding of childrens developmental stages.
Terms of Employment:
Full-time (10 month) teaching assignment to begin at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Salary and benefits in accordance with the negotiated agreement between the Berlin Board of Education and the Berlin Education Association, BA Step 1 $54,797.00 - Ph.D. Max $114,617.00.
