Position Title: Experienced Elementary School Teacher | Experienced Secondary Education Teacher (Two 5th Grade Openings)

• STEM Focused (Math or Science)
• ES and/or Secondary Math or Science Certified

• Booker T. Washington Academy Middle School

Reports To: School Principal

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Salary Range: $50,500 - $90,000 , commensurate with experience

About the Opportunity

We are seeking passionate, mission-driven and Experienced Elementary School Teachers (Math / STEM Focused) to join our team. and fill two 5th grade seats across two of our campuses (Booker T. Washington Academy Middle School and Edmonds Cofield Preparatory Academy for Young Men). These are two exciting opportunity -- similar in content focus but unique in school model -- for experienced educators who believe deeply in the brilliance of all children, are committed to equity, and are eager to foster a love of learning across STEM subjects in a high-need, urban setting.

As an Experienced Elementtary Teacher (Math / STEM Focused) you will:

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in math and/or science that builds strong academic foundations.
• Create a joyful, structured classroom culture where students feel safe, supported, and challenged to grow.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum, analyze student data, and ensure every scholar is on a path toward long-term success.
• Partner with families to build strong relationships and shared accountability for student growth.

This role is ideal for an educator who is reflective, growth-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven school community.

Given the high need content area and high demand content expertise required, qualfied candidates who are certified in the areas Elementary Education and/or Secondary Math or Science will be eligible for an additional $2500 bonus in addition to the compensation and benefits package offered!!
