Job Description:

Saint Bernard School in Uncasville, Connecticut, is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven English Teacher to join its faculty. The English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-based instruction in literature, composition, grammar, and communication skills to students in grades 9-12 (and/or grades 6-8, as assigned). The successful candidate will foster a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, effective written and oral expression, and a lifelong love of reading, while modeling and upholding the Catholic values and Xaverian mission of the school.
