CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Required certification options; • Connecticut 097 Certification or; • 102 and 092 combined certification or; 015 and 092 combined 102 or 015 would be required to start in the position, and must be enrolled in the 097 and/or 092 program when applying.
SUMMARY The Language Arts Consultant assesses schoolwide literacy instruction and student performance by using data to drive decision-making and collaborating with school and district stakeholders. The consultant supports the implementation of high-quality, research-based literacy instruction aligned to the Science of Reading, provides coaching and professional development, coordinates assessment processes, and engages in leadership activities to improve student achievement. This position includes approximately 70% coaching and 30% intervention responsibilities.
