Jumoke Academy seeks motivated and innovative BAND certified teachers for middle school who are committed to excellence for every child and will accept nothing less. These individuals must be highly motivated and mission-driven; teachers who sweat the small stuff without losing sight of the big picture. QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/License: Appropriate CT State Certification

Education: An accredited Bachelors or Masters Degree

Experience: At least three years of teaching experience at the intermediate elementary and middle school level.

• Must be knowledgeable in playing wood wind instruments.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND WORK SCHEDULE

Ten month work year. Standard teacher work schedule, including attendance at professional development, open houses, parent conferences and staff meetings as needed.

Compensation is contingent on relevant experience, degree and certification. Full-time position that comes with benefits.
