Classroom Teacher / Music Music Vocal Long Term Substitute Certificate: Music, Pre-K-12 (049)

Job Description:

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in related content area.
• Certification: Must possess or be eligible for one of the CT State Department of Education (049) Music PK-12

Salary: $125/day benefit eligible as required (after 40 consecutive days, $275.16 BA, Step 1, if certified)

Period of Employment: September 2026 - (Approximately 4 weeks)

Reports to: Building Principal

• A commitment to collaborating with colleagues to improve learning outcomes for all students.
• Ability to use data to inform instructional decisions and interventions.
• Ability to build organizational capacity around best practices and instruction based on our districts continuous improvement work.
