Whisconier Middle School is looking for excellent Teacher for 7th Grade Science!

Important Dates: August 20 & 21: New Hire Orientation

August 24th: First Day for Current Teaching Staff

August 27th : First Day for Students

Description:

• Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards (grades 6-8).
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and hands-on learning environment to support student inquiry and exploration.
• Design and implement assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Integrate technology and lab activities to enhance understanding of scientific concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
• Maintain classroom management and promote positive student behavior.
• Participate in professional development and school events as required.
• Qualified Candidates must have a valid CT Certification in the area which they apply.
