St. Bridget School, a thriving PreK-8 Catholic school in Cheshire, Connecticut, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our exceptional faculty for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are looking for a teacher who inspires curiosity, fosters a love of learning, and engages students through hands-on, inquiry-based science instruction. The ideal candidate will cultivate critical and creative thinking while integrating STEM experiences that help students connect classroom learning to the world around them.

Responsibilities:

• Teach middle school science to students in grades 6-8.
• Develop engaging lessons aligned with archdiocesan curriculum standards.
• Incorporate laboratory investigations, technology, engineering design challenges, and STEM learning experiences.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and faith-filled classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
• Support the mission and values of Catholic education.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Science Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Connecticut teaching certification (or eligibility) preferred.
• Middle school teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for engaging students through inquiry, innovation, and real-world science.
