LEARN Southeastern Connecticuts Regional Educational Service Center invites energetic, creative, and compassionate professionals to apply for a Special Education Teacher opening in the Elementary Developmental Disabilities Classroom at the Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy in New London, Connecticut for the 2026-2027 school year.

Day to Day
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive student programming.
- Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based, developmentally appropriate lessons to individuals and small groups.
- Build strong relationships with caregivers to support each childs success.
Qualifications
- Connecticut Teacher certification (i.e., 165/065) or eligible for certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience working with children in school or educational settings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Salary Range
$49,292 to $102,010 annually.
