Position: World Language Educator
Description
Enfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate World Language Educator specializing in Spanish. The ideal candidate will utilize research-based best practices for teaching and learning within the world language content area. This position requires a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging learning environment that aligns with our mission statement.
Qualifications
Must be working toward or hold CT certification Spanish 4-12, 023 Bachelors degree in a related field Strong understanding of research-based best practices for teaching and learning in world languages Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans that meet diverse student needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to professional growth and development
Responsibilities
Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and district goals. Utilize instructional technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development. Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success. Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve instructional practices.
