CLASSTIME Academic Support Teacher

About the Role: 
Novella Education Group Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated CLASSTIME Academic Support Teacher. Responsibilities: 

• Supervise the CLASSTIME study hall environment.
• Help students prioritize assignments and manage their academic workload.
• Support students with homework completion across subject areas.
• Provide guidance with organization, planning, time management, and study skills.
• Help students develop effective academic habits and routines.
• Provide executive-functioning support and accountability.
• Monitor student attendance, participation, and progress.
• Track student usage and communicate relevant concerns to the Novella Prep program manager.
• Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with other CLASSTIME teachers.
• Follow Novella Prep's academic methodology and program expectations.

CLASSTIME may operate at the following locations:

• Randall's Island – Manhattan
• Syosset – Long Island
• Lake Isle – Westchester
• Port Washington – Long Island
• Amagansett – Hamptons

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor's degree in Education; Master's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in tutoring, academic intervention, or classroom instruction preferred
• Strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum and differentiated instruction strategies
• Valid teaching certification or licensure (preferred or required per state guidelines)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Patient, empathetic, and student-centered approach to teaching
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented educational environment
