Job Description:

Seeking a Clean Room Coatings Tech to join a company in the Horsham, PA area.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coatings Production Technician I will perform daily manufacturing operations for coatings products in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO requirements, and appropriate regulatory agencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manufacture coating products according to specifications and production BPRs and SOPs.
• Ensure the completion of ERP transactions in an accurate and timely manner to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Use materials in an efficient and responsible manner to reduce waste.
• Ensure accurate completion and review of quality documentation (BPRs, logbooks, etc.) Bring any concerns regarding quality to the manager with suggestions on how to fix the issue(s).
• Understand and follow proper documentation as required by cGMP.
• Identify possible deviation occurrences and aid in investigations.
• Complete all assigned lab and non-lab related tasks.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace environment.
• Report all safety issues, concerns, incidents, and near misses to the team's leadership.
• Contribute ideas on improving safety and assist with implementation.
• Review and follow the established production schedule to ensure fulfillment of customer orders.
• Remain current on all assigned training requirements.
• Continue self-development by seeking out cross-training opportunities in other areas within the department.
• Identify all production issues and relay them to the leadership team.
• Monitor and communicate any raw material or equipment shortages.
• Monitor and communicate any equipment or calibration issues.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions.
• Provide feedback on any required BPRs and SOPs updates to improve clarity.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma required. Bachelor Degree in Biology/Chemistry preferred. If a candidate doesn't have a degree they must have some lab experience.
• Experience in a technical discipline with minimum 1-2 years of lab experience or experience in a manufacturing, process development or production environment.
• Ability to operate in a cleanroom and laboratory environment.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.
• Ability to work and communicate in a team environment in a professional and respectful manner.
• Self-starter, organized.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written procedures.
• Computer literate, Microsoft Office package, email, internet, spreadsheets.
• Ability to operate in a small company environment.

Work Environment:

Office environment, cleanroom/lab environment. Physical requirements are those that could be reasonably anticipated given the job duties and work environment.

Exposure to hazardous chemicals in certain areas of the office. Must wear required personal protective equipment while demonstrating safe working practices.

Physical Requirements

Physical Demands-Stooping, turning, bending, squatting, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds; constant/repetitive standing; requires normal, correctable vision and hearing, and the ability to accurately discern color as necessary to perform job functions.
