Cleaner - 4 hours per day

The Elkhorn Area School District is seeking part time Cleaners to work second or third shift, four hours per day, Monday through Friday during the school year. Flexible start and end times are negotiable, but work cannot begin prior to 4:00 p.m. and must be completed by 6:00 a.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under the overall direction of the Supervisor (Buildings, Grounds, & Maintenance), performs necessary duties required to maintain the assigned building to include: general cleaning, tasks required to keep the building, classrooms, & all core areas within the school in good condition & repair
• Takes daily direction from the Head Custodian relating to routine tasks or special projects
• Maintains supplies & equipment as necessary
• Performs all general cleaning & floor maintenance required to maintain a neat & clean building (sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, & polish floors; wash walls, windows, & woodwork; dust, arrange, & move furniture/equipment; clean restrooms & replenish supplies)
• Communicates with Head Custodian & other staff as necessary regarding issues requiring attention
• All other duties as assigned
