Cleaner

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas, hallways, and other facility spaces.
Empty trash containers, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials.
Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and other restroom or facility items as needed.
Clean windows, doors, surfaces, furniture, and high-touch areas following safety and sanitation procedures.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, including vacuums, floor machines, and other janitorial tools.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Report maintenance issues, damages, safety concerns, or supply needs to the supervisor.
Maintain professionalism while working around employees, customers, or visitors.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
Follow company policies, union guidelines, and workplace procedures.

Requirements:

Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Must follow safety rules and maintain a professional attitude.
