Position OverviewIMKO Workforce Solutions is hiring a dependable Commercial Cleaning Crew Lead in Sedalia, MO. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for working alongside a cleaning crew while helping oversee daily assignments, employee attendance, and completion of commercial cleaning duties.The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable leading a team, and willing to jump in and clean wherever needed.Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a commercial cleaning crew of approximately 4 or more employees
• Ensure crew members arrive as scheduled and complete required check-ins
• Help assign, organize, and monitor daily cleaning responsibilities
• Conduct employee check-ins and communicate attendance or performance concerns as needed
• Serve as a key holder and assist with opening/closing responsibilities
• Ensure assigned commercial spaces are thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next business day
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors and walking areas
• Clean offices, common areas, and break rooms
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Empty trash and maintain overall cleanliness of assigned facilities
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
• Help ensure the crew follows safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Communicate issues or concerns promptly
• Perform additional commercial cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Previous lead, supervisory, or crew management experience strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively lead and communicate with a team
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable being responsible for keys and facility access
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and keep a crew on task
• Willingness to perform hands-on cleaning duties alongside the team
• Ability to work until assigned cleaning duties are completed each evening

Schedule: Monday– Friday, starting at 1: 00 PM and typically finishing between 9: 30– 10: 00 PM, depending on the workload.
