As a Cleaning Shift Leader, you'll oversee daily cleaning operations, support team members, and ensure high standards of quality and efficiency. You'll work closely with management to coordinate scheduling, monitor supplies, and maintain a positive work environment, making a tangible impact every day.
What You'll Do
As a Cleaning Shift Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a team of cleaning staff in daily tasks, ensuring all work meets company standards.
- Assigning and adjusting daily work schedules to maximize productivity and coverage.
- Overseeing project-based cleaning tasks, including floors, carpets, and specialty cleaning.
- Inspecting completed work and addressing any quality concerns promptly.
- Coordinating coverage for call-outs, vacations, and special projects to maintain operations.
- Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, submitting maintenance requests, and reporting facility issues.
- Training new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cleaning, facilities management, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
- Experience training others in cleaning procedures or operations.
- Comfort using basic computer programs such as email, Word, and Excel.
- A valid drivers license for occasional travel or supply pickups.

Location & Schedule:
