Position Overview:
Clean Team is seeking a dependable Cleaning Support Technician to serve as a flexible site leader across multiple commercial cleaning locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
The Cleaning Support Technician helps ensure nightly operations run smoothly by supporting staff, maintaining supply levels, and stepping in wherever needed to keep facilities clean, safe, and presentable.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee nightly commercial cleaning operations at multiple client locations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to established cleaning procedures. • Ensure cleaning quality consistently meets company expectations and client standards for professional janitorial service. • Train new employees, demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, and provide on-site guidance to improve performance and consistency. • Deliver cleaning supplies, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate restocking to ensure sites remain fully supplied. • Communicate regularly with supervisors and management regarding site conditions, staffing needs, equipment concerns, and service improvements. • Manage schedules, priorities, and task completion across multiple facilities, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations. • Perform hands-on commercial cleaning duties when necessary, including vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and general facility cleaning. • Maintain a professional and courteous presence while working in occupied buildings or client environments.
Qualifications:
• Previous shift lead, keyholder, team lead, or supervisory experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or facility maintenance preferred. • Strong time management, organization, and decision-making skills. • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required. • Comfortable traveling between locations and adapting to different site requirements. • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to lift cleaning equipment and supplies and remain active throughout the shift.
