Cleaning Technician

Location: Corning, NY

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

Position Summary

Revere Staffing Partners is looking for dependable Cleaning Technicians to provide high-quality commercial cleaning services at customer facilities. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Available Schedules

Schedules may include:

• Monday through Friday
• Monday through Thursday
• Wednesday through Sunday
• Monday and Tuesday
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
• 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
• 5:00 PM–1:30 AM
• 5:30 PM–2:00 AM
• 9:00 AM–1:30 PM

Some positions may require weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain commercial facilities according to established procedures and customer requirements.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, clean restrooms, and remove trash.
• Complete assigned work accurately and within the required timeframe.
• Safely operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Properly use and store cleaning products and supplies.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Report supply shortages, equipment problems, safety hazards, and customer concerns.
• Protect customer property and maintain confidentiality.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work.
• Accept coaching and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily cleaning goals.
• Maintain professional conduct at customer locations.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Professional and respectful attitude.
• Ability to work effectively with coworkers and customers.
• Availability to work the assigned schedule, including evenings or weekends when required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work in various commercial environments.
