Cleaning Technician – Part-Time Afternoon Position (Lapeer, MI)

We're currently hiring a Cleaning Technician for a commercial facility in Lapeer, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a predictable evening schedule with one consistent work location.

• 8.5 hours per week

• Pay: $14.50–$15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Monday–Friday evening schedule

• Start time after 4:30 PM

• Shift must be completed by 7:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing

• Gather and remove trash, replacing liners as needed

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors

• Dust vents, windowsills, equipment, and other surfaces

• Refill paper products, soap, and restroom supplies

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break areas, and common spaces

• Clean high-touch surfaces such as door handles, fixtures, and glass

• Maintain a clean and organized janitor closet

• Lock and secure the building at the end of the shift as required

• Report maintenance concerns or supply needs to your supervisor

• Follow all site-specific cleaning procedures and company quality standards

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Reliable transportation

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift

• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards

• Must meet company insurance requirements

Work Environment

• One consistent work location in Lapeer

• Familiar routine and responsibilities each shift

• Support from a dedicated Zone Supervisor or Lead Technician

• Stable, long-term part-time opportunity
