Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions Division is seeking a Cleanroom Inspection and Packaging Technician.
The selected candidate will follow manufacturing process plans, specifications, and established procedures to inspect, clean, package, and prepare Client's cleanroom-manufactured products for shipment.
Perform outgoing inspection, cleaning, and packaging processes ranging from routine to complex; strong visual acuity is required.
Handle optical and laser products carefully to prevent damage or contamination during inspection, packaging, and shipping.
Inspect products under UV light for contamination and clean them in accordance with specified procedures.
Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and label information for accuracy.
Place products in polyethylene bags and operate heat-sealing equipment to evacuate and seal multiple layers of packaging.
Secure cleaned and sealed products in foam end caps and plastic containers.
Follow all cleanroom gowning requirements, contamination-control practices, and safety guidelines.
Organize, maintain, and coordinate materials within the work cell.
Communicate effectively with team members, technicians, and engineers, both verbally and in writing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with cleanroom requirements.
Skills:
Three to five years of experience inspecting and/or packaging high-technology products, preferably optical or laser products.
Experience using Oracle MRP or similar manufacturing software systems.
Ability to work in a Class 1000 cleanroom environment.
Ability to lift 30–35 pounds while packaging multiple systems daily.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prevent labeling, packaging, and shipping errors.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions in English.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technicians and engineers.
Basic proficiency with a Windows-based computer, including starting and rebooting the system, navigating folders, and opening or copying files.
Willingness and ability to cross-train within a flexible manufacturing-cell environment.
Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
