Cleanroom Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Simply Clean is hiring multiple Cleanroom Maintenance Technicians to perform scheduled cleaning inside a controlled manufacturing environment at a glass production facility in Tomah, WI.

You would be joining an established Simply Clean crew already working at this facility. As we expand our cleanroom coverage, we are building a dedicated on-site team — which means real structure, clear expectations, and coworkers you will get to know over time.

This is not standard commercial cleaning. ISO 7 cleanroom environments require strict procedure compliance, strong attention to detail, and comfort working inside a regulated space where cleanliness directly impacts production quality and output.

The right person is dependable, coachable, and takes pride in doing things exactly right — every shift.

What You’ll Do

• Perform scheduled cleaning inside and around ISO 7 cleanrooms and supporting manufacturing areas
• Follow site-specific cleaning procedures, contamination control protocols, and safety requirements
• Clean floors, walls, surfaces, doors, ledges, fixtures, and assigned areas per procedure
• Use approved cleaning products, tools, wipes, mops, vacuums, and equipment correctly
• Handle chemical cleaning solutions safely and according to SDS and label instructions
• Report supply needs, safety concerns, spills, damage, or unusual conditions immediately
• Complete assigned work consistently and thoroughly — no shortcuts
• Maintain professional conduct while working inside an active customer facility

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable — you show up on time, every shift
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions exactly
• Detail-oriented — you notice small things most people overlook
• Comfortable working independently after training
• Clear communicator when issues, concerns, or supply needs come up
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and kneel for extended periods
• Able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
• Comfortable using ladders when required
• Willing to wear required PPE
• Able to pass a background check and any site-specific facility requirements

Preferred, But Not Required

• Commercial cleaning, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience
• Prior work in manufacturing, warehouse, medical, lab, or cleanroom environments
• Familiarity with PPE, SDS sheets, or controlled cleaning procedures
• Experience with floor equipment, specialty cleaning tools, or ladders
• Reliable work history with low attendance issues

No cleanroom experience? No problem — we will train the right person.

Schedule

This position is 5–6 days per week during evening hours. Exact shift times will be confirmed during the interview process.

This role is part of a growing on-site team at a single facility, so consistency and reliability on your assigned days are essential.

Pay

Starting pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience and reliability.

This is a specialty controlled-environment role. Pay reflects the higher standard of work, attention to detail, and consistency required.
